If Muncy still hits that ball to the first baseman for an out like he did, Mookie moves over to 3rd with one out.
Instead Muncy hits into the double play and takes the steam out of a potential rally and win. San Diego would have moved the runner over and probably even the Giants. The Dodgers would rather try to win with the home runs.
